GWO Fire Awareness (Full or Refresher)

This course is designed to enable participants to prevent and assess fires, manage the evacuation of personnel, and extinguish fires using the correct firefighting equipment if the incident is judged to be safe.

This is a blended learning course comprised of self-paced e-learning and a 2-hour in-venue session.

GWO Enhanced First Aid (Full or Refresher)

By the end of this course, participants will be able to recognise life-threatening and other common medical conditions in a wind turbine environment, treat these safely and efficiently until further medical assistance arrives, recognise their limits as a first aider, and identify when and how to call for help.

The overall objective of the GWO Sea Survival module is that participants will be able to act independently to prevent incidents and minimise the consequences of any incidents by working safely and taking care of themselves and others while working offshore.

GWO Advanced Rescue - Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade (Full or Refresher)

This course will enable participants to safely access the hub, spinner, inside blade, nacelle, tower and basement section of a wind turbine to get to an injured person, perform entry-type casualty rescue operations in a wind turbine generator, correctly use industry standards rescue equipment and methods, and understand and demonstrate rescue techniques that exceed those of GWO Working at Height.

This is a blended learning course comprised of self-paced e-learning and a 6 hour in-venue session.

GWO Blade Repair

The aim of this course is to enable participants to perform and document blade repair tasks and execute work in accordance with work instructions. This is an entry-level course and therefore doesn’t enable participants to perform repairs on major structural blade components such as spar caps or carbon fibre.
