Managing Safe Work in Wind
This course consists of 4 modules:

Managing Working at Height in Wind

Managing Manual Handling in Wind

Managing First Aid in Wind

Managing Fire Safety in Wind
The aim of each module is to give participants knowledge of legislation, equipment, best practice, and necessary staff training for working on wind farms.
Designed to be used as a brief overview, or an annual refresher, each module will enable participants to help ensure that all work on wind farms is managed safely, in order to reduce the risk of injuries and incidents.

Course ObjectivesBy the end of this course, participants will be able to prevent and assess fires, manage the evacuation of personnel, and extinguish fires using the correct fire fighting equipment if the incident is judged to be safe.

Course DetailsDuration (Onsite) - 2 hours Start and End Times (Unless otherwise notified) - 15:30-17:30 Duration (E-Learning) - 1 hour 20 mins (minimum) Trainer to Delegate Ratio - 1:6 Location - Winchester or Gateshead Certificate Validity - 2 years Cost - £105 + VAT Entry Requirements - 18+ / Self-Declaration of Medical Fitness / Fluency in English is Required for Safety Purposes Refreshments - Tea, coffee, and refreshments provided throughout the day.
