Safer at Work are committed to keeping your data secure and safe when visiting our website. It is important to us that you understand how we use your data for our services, along with the entitlements you have for the personal information we hold. Please note that we aim to keep our privacy policy updated as our website and business develops.

How we use your data

We receive and store any information you enter onto the website; this could be through the 'Contact Us' forms, interacting with the chat box, or any other form of entering your personal data. Additionally, we can request to have your data exported for marketing and business growth purposes across Safer at Work and our sister company Renewable Field Services. The personal data, including your name, location, date of birth, gender, email address, work and telephone number, can be used for the following marketing and business purposes (not all this data is gathered through cookies, it is also obtained through forms, bookings etc.):

Mailing Lists - If a piece of business information is deemed suitable for you, the user, then you may be included in email marketing campaigns created through Hubspot. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time. 

Vulnerability information - When providing health or disability issues you may have for course bookings, we use this data for any courses you book in the future. This ensures you are kept safe and provided with the right services during your training.

Company communications - If you are contacting or booking on behalf of the company you work for, we may maintain contact with this company for other safety training or blade repair work the company may require.

Social media content - Specific demographic information is sometimes used when creating social media content. This can include factoring your age, gender and location into content that would appeal to yourself and others. 

Website visits - The frequency of visiting the Renewable Field Services and Safer at Work websites informs us of your interest in our services. Due to this, specialised content or messaging may be created to appeal to you.

Chat logs - If you have contacted us before through the usage of chat logs, including providing your name, location etc, we use this information only when determining suitability for specific courses (e.g. refreshers) and to streamline any future contacting or billing that is required. This information is not shared publicly or to other external companies.

Google Analytics

When someone visits www.saferatwork.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out information such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Forms

By contacting us via 'Contact Us' forms or website messaging, you are given the option to provide personal information involving your name, email address and phone number. The information stored is only for direct communication and activity logging, allowing us to answer your queries. The information we gather is not sold or used to other companies or parties and can only be accessed by management and marketing employees from within our companies.

Anonymised Personal Information

Data gathered through software such as tags and social links clicked can provide us with information about your site experience. Your data is not sold to other companies or transferred to other countries, kept for any longer than necessary, or used outside of our business' purpose.
