Our Facilities

Blade Repair Workshop

Consisting of a classroom, material preparation room, laminating and painting room, and a sanding and grinding room, our purpose-built blade repair workshop provides participants with industry-standard equipment in an environment that allows them to create blade sections that they then perform high-quality repairs on.

POOL

Our pool is heated to 22 °C and allows participants to train in a realistic but comfortable environment. With a depth of over 2m, participants can hone their practical sea survival skills, ensuring they have the ability to operate safely in offshore conditions.

Mock Turbine

Our mock wind turbine is designed to give participants the opportunity to experience what working conditions they will encounter on site during their training. Standing 5m tall, the turbine allows training to take place inside a tower, nacelle, hub and inside a blade.

Working at Height Tower

Our working at height tower allows participants to experience descents of 4.5m, practising working safely at height on ladders, evacuating using industry standard equipment, and performing rescues of casualties.

"Lovely staff, all were very friendly. Our tutor was very knowledgeable and if he didn’t know the answer to anything we asked, he would Google it for us right in front of you, but seriously, Ryan Potts was fantastic he knew his stuff and was very patient with all of us. Also, lunch was always on time for the fat kids 10 out of 10 effort".

Stewart Graham

"Recently did my refresher at good facilities with patient and helpful staff".
