Safer at Work is a specialist GWO training company with one clear goal in mind; to ensure people are competent to safely work in high risk environments by delivering practical, real-world training in a realistic environment.
With in-depth knowledge of all aspects of workplace health and safety training, including the development, design, and delivery of training courses, we can provide GWO training and other services in working at height, confined spaces, rescue, first aid, manual handling and fire safety.
Whatever your GWO training needs, we are ready to help you be Safer at Work.
Unrivalled Experience & Pedigree
Through our sister company Renewable Field Services, we have over 100 cumulative years of experience working in the wind industry, carrying out wind turbine blade inspections, maintenance, and repair, so we understand how important it is to have high quality health and safety procedures, including training.
Unique Training Blend
We understand the burden of taking extra time away from work to complete training courses in a classroom, as well as the administration that can be involved such as booking travel and hotels.
This is why Safer at Work has introduced blended and digital learning options, for both our bespoke training, and for some of our GWO courses.
Safer at Work can offer self-paced e-learning and webinars/virtual classrooms, either as stand-alone training or in combination with face-to-face learning in order to provide a blended approach.
Realistic Training Environments
Working in high risk environments requires people to be trained to a high level of competence. As part of this, personnel should feel comfortable knowing that when they have left a training course, they will be able to put what they have learnt into practice.
We believe therefore that wherever possible, learners should be trained in an environment similar to what they would encounter when working.
Our facilities have a variety of training scenarios to enhance and support the learning experience, including towers for working at height, confined spaces, smoke-filled fire simulation rooms, and mock-up wind turbines.
